Based upon my own Champion Azawakh female, "L'Africaine" encompasses the classic type, elegance, and refinement of this rare West African sighthound breed. 
 
This is #25 of 50 in a one-mold, limited edition casting of an original bas-relief sculpture created by the seller in 2017. The mold has now been destroyed and no more resin castings of "L'Africaine" will ever be made.
 
"L'Africaine" has an immense amount of sculptural detail which has been beautifully captured in high-quality polyurethane resin. Every tile has been cast, prepped, and finished by the artist in her studio, with not a single one alike. The painted tile you see in the photo is the one you will receive. Many different mediums are used to finish each tile, including real metallic pigments and patinas (not just paint). The back is painted a plain black.
 
Every "L'Africaine" comes complete with its signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Due to printer problems, the certificate will be emailed to you in PDF format.
 
The size of the tile (107 x 145 mm, roughly postcard size) makes it easy to place in your home, whether you wish to place it on a shelf or in a frame.
